Covergirl Lashblast Volume Waterproof Review.

Hellooooo lovely ladies! Wanted to do a quick review for you all, as you may or may not know I'm in the US of A right now so will be reviewing some of the most raved about American beauty products out there! Starting with this one..

To start with.. The waterproof part. This mascara, will NOT come off your eyelashes. I tried everything, cleanser, eye makeup remover that claims to take off waterproof mascara, soap and water every single thing you can do to take makeup off your eyes I did! Nothing worked!! So I tried my best but still woke up the next morning with that 'my eyelashes are stuck together' feeling! The application it's self is fine, a nice large brush but nothing fantastic, it doesn't give my lashes much length and the volume is very clumpy! Overall I will give this product a 4/10 and wouldn't buy it again.. If I did I would try the normal not waterproof version! :) See you all soon! :) B x

Nails of the day - Lacey lilac!

Hello all! I am in the United States of America right now and of corse that means I am trying LOTS of new beauty products! 

This being the first I wish to review as it is the first product I bought when I arrived!

This is the beautiful 'Lacey lilac' by Sally Hansen! These nail polishes retail at around the $3 mark so they are a complete steal! This is only one coat as I was in a hurry when painting my finger tips, the application is great, the formula I love, it drys so fast and I generally have nothing bad to say about this nail polish! I think it would look good on any skin tone, the only downside is how long it lasts but if you change up your nail polish as much as I do you probably don't care to much! :)

Bright Summer Lip!

Hellooo sexy ladies!

Today I have something that will brighten up your look and make you feel on top of the world! A Bright Pink Lip!! :) 

This daring duo has made heads turn for days now and I can't stop wearing it! So what is it you say? 

Well, Illamasqa's 'Manic' lip pencil topped off with Urban Decay's Pocket Rocket in the colour 'Doug'. Firstly, this lip pencil is out of this world, neon bright pink will make the boys wink;). It makes me feel so confident when I wear this, I am very lucky that I got this colour in my Glossybox! 

I have never really been a Gloss girl however, this lip pencil is quite drying like many lip pencils so I make sure I apply lip balm before and a gloss after. The one I picked is Doug from UD because it is darker and tones down the pencil.

Motivational Monday #5

Sorry it's a late one tonight guys! I have been revising for my English Language exam tomorrow. However, I had to go an let off some steam and yesterday actually I went for my first summer run! I am not a runner to say the least, unless you count a washed up whale like out of breath creature crawling up the hill a runner.. Thought NOT! Well considering I had an amazing run yesterday that did infact turn into a walk surprise surprise! I thought I would take a break and go out and sample the scenery once again! 

I really suggest going out on these sunny evenings, taking your iPod and having some you time! It relaxes me and makes me think more positively! I plug in my favourite Worship music, grab my water bottle and run into the woods! 

Enjoy the freedom feeling whatever you do this week and remember to feel free!

Summery Strawberry Ice Drink.

Hello lovelies! I am about to make your taste buds tingle with this VERY simple sweet summery drink. So on this very very warm day I was sat in the garden very parched, as my water went warm
in the heat so I decided to add some ice. I saw that we had some strawberries in the fridge so I thought 'ooo strawberry ice sounds nice'. (And that rhymes!!) I got out some cupcake cases, cut the strawberries in half, plopped them in and covered them in water. Simple as that you say? Oh yes! You then put them in the freezer for 3 hours minimum. Take them out, you are left with sweet cupcake shaped strawberry ice! Put them in your favourite glass, my cup is from T K Max perfect for summer! Fill it with whatever you want, pictured (I have cherries and berries squash with lemonade) Yum Yum! You then sip and enjoy! Have fun making

Motivational Monday #4

Hello all! Today is a very windy typical British weather day. So I am stuck inside still in my Pj's burning a very yummy candle (see instagram for pictures *@beccabird3*)! Although it is a poor day in terms of weather I am feeling very blessed and lucky! 

It took me a good 3 hours to get out of bed from when I work up, so let's be honest I am not the most motivated person.. However, even though I am sat with a chemistry revision book in front of me, my mind wondering to many different places;  I feel some sort of luck and fortune! It got me thinking to how lucky we all are, having a bank holiday to some what do nothing and laze about all day. Whereas some people in the world have to get up, find money to feed there families, walk miles to just get some water and I complain about going downstairs to get CLEAN water out of running tap. Anyway, the point of all this is just to remember how lucky we are to have a home, running water, computers. phones and endless technology we take for granted! So let's stop moaning about Mondays and put a smile on our face and think how lucky we are to have out families and people we love around us!

Motivational Monday #3

Hello lovely ladies,
So as some of you may know I am 16 years old and my exams are fastly approaching (that sentence sends shivers down my spine eeeeek!) I'm sure many of you may be in the same position too! So this motivational Monday is focussing on de-stressing when exam time is here.

I myself am a VERY panicky person; I get major anxiety,  panic attacks and generally get stressed out super easy. The three things I tell myself when doing exams are;

1) RELAX 

2) You can only do your best

3) You do better when your not a big ball of stress! 

So whatever your doing today just remember to relax, don't take yourself to seriously and chill out! 

Just a short one today as I am revising! By the time this one goes up I will be in my exam! Eeeeek!
