My twice a week Skincare Treatment!

Hello blog readers! So whilst doing my twice a week Skincare routine which is different from my every day routine I got inspired to show you guys what I do every Wednesday night and Sunday morning! Just as a heads up I do have oily to combination skin so this skincare routine may not work for everyone! So now i'm going to show you step by step what I do in this routine!

I start by removing my make up with whatever make up wipes I'm using at the time but I tend to stick with Johnsons Face Care Oil Balancing Facial Cleansing Wipes. I abserloooooootly LOVE these face wipes they take off my make up like a dream, (EVEN MASCARA) wow. They arn't dry which is something that I HATE about facewipes is when they become bone dry half way through use! And they treat my face well! They also do face wipes for normal and dry skin to! Check out there range here.. http://www.johnsonsbeauty.co.uk/face-care/

I then cleanse my face with a cleanser and cotton pad, the cleanser I use is the Botanics Organic Hot Cloth Cleansing Balm which is a lovely organic cleanser that loves my skin and does it good! It is £8.99 from boots but currently boots are having a 1/3 off all Botanics products! So go HEAD TO BOOTS! quick RUUUUUUN! http://www.boots.com/en/Botanics-97-Organic-Hot-Cloth-Cleansing-Balm-70ml_1262019/

After gently cleansing my face, I follow that step with a scrub, the scrub I use is also by Botanics, it is the Botanics Purifying Face Scrub for Normal/Oily Skin. I find that this works great for me as a scrub, It's not to harsh so could be used for everyday use to! It says it reveals a brighter complexion and draws out impurities which is great to! Some cleansers/scrubs strip away too much of the skins natural oils and makes you break  out, this one doesn't hoorah! I really love the Botanics range because they use natural ingredients like plant extracts which work great with my skin! (side note, my mum also loves this product and she has normal skin!

Now I have completed the cleaning regime of my face so my skin is clear of any make up or dirt I have collected throughout the day (woohoo)! I have splashed it with warm water so my pours are open! This next part is simple but effective! I heat up some water until nearly boiling and add the juice of half a lemon and then drop the lemon in! After that I put a towel over my head lean my face over the bowl and enjoy a nice steam for 15 minutes! (lifting my head up every 5 minutes so it doesn't get to hot) this deeply cleanses your face getting hot steam right into your pores drawing out any yucky impurities which will cause your skin to break out in horrible red in attractive spots! (tasty... NOT!)

We're nearly done, I promise! I now will apply my favourite face mask, if my face is really spotty I tend to use a tea tree spot treatment mask, but on clearer days I use the planet spa African Shea butter nourishing face mask from Avon, which just nourishing my skin and makes it super soft! I sit with this all over my face for another 15 minutes and wash it off with warm water! 2 more simple steps now, I close my pours with the 'breath of fresh air' toner water from lush, which I have to say is lovely and I have repurchased it twice! I then use the best high street moisturiser I have come across for tackling my spots without drying out my skin which is the 'dual action oil free moisturiser by clean and clear'
I then cosy up with a hot chocolate and go to bed with happy skin!

Review! PHYSICIANS FORMULA custom eye enhancing kohl kajal eyelinertrio.

hello there blog friends. long time no see.. today I am writing a blog post on some lovely eye liners I got sent from my auntie in America! I myself have never heard of the brand 'physicians formula' as I don't think you can get them here in the UK. However, I love this product! It comes with three kohl eyeliner pencils (green, purple and black) all amazingly pigmented and so soft, the black one is strangely softer than the other two! here is a swatch..

I have used the black pencil nearly everyday since I've had it and get on so well with the product, it glides on nicely the pencil isn't to big or to small it's just perfect!

Another handy point about this product is that on the back it shows you the different custom looks you can do with these pencils. It says you can use the green for a natural look, the purple for a playful look and the black for a dramatic look! You could even mix them all together if you were feeling that brave!

The formula is 100% waterproof but I have found it to smudge a little bit if you put it under the bottom last line.. This brand is hypoallergenic, fragrance free, paraben free, dermatologist approved and safe for sensitive eyes and contact lens wearers which is great!

All in all a great product that I will be using in some tutorials very soon!
bye for now.

MUA Undressed Eye Shadow Palette, AMAZING Dupe for Naked At Only £4!

Ever wanted the Urban Decay Naked Palette but arn't sure if it's for you and dont want to spend £32 on some eye shadows? Well now you don't have to as MUA (Make Up Academy) have come up with a dupe for an amazing £4! With an amazing 12 shade of neutrals this is the perfect budget palette with all you need to create smokey eyes, natural eyes or even come up with some summer fav's with the gorgeous pink shades they've thrown in there.. Now I know your dying to see it so here it is..
So as you can see not only does it have some amazing shades with a total of 3 matte shades and 9 shimmer it also has a good range from a matte shade to go on your brow bone or all over your lid to a very sparkly black which is perf for a smokey eye! Here is the first line swatched..

So hopefully you can see the shades clearly there and I have to say I am not to impressed with the first line swatched as I had very high hopes for this palette and really hopes they would have amazing pigmentation. So from right to left you can see they are good dupes for (Virgin, Sin, Naked, Sidecar, Buck and Half Baked) When you use these lighter shades you do have to pile them on if you want to make a good impact. Today I have used Sin or (Shade 2) I have to say MUA could have named them something a little more inventive than just Shade 1, Shade 2 etc, anyway, I have used Sin in my inner corner and tearduct area and then piled on Buck onto my whole lid. Now going onto the second line..

The pigmentation of the darker shades in this palette is much better than the first which made me very happy because I can do a lot with these shades, so the equivilent of these shades within naked would be (Smog, Darkhorse, Toasted, Hustle, Creep and Gunmetal) I used a little bit of Smog accross the outer 1/3 of my lid and blended it into the crease I then lined my eye with Creep and brushed a bit of Virgin under my brow.  The finished look came out like so..

There will be a tutorial of this look on my blog and on my youtube chanel @beccabirdx in the next couple of days!
So if you are as excited about this palette as I am please either head over to superdrug and pick it up or go to the MUA website and order it online because the ship INTERNATIONALLY! http://www.muastore.co.uk/ Also check out some of there over amazing products, I will do a blog post on some of my fav's soon! So watch out for that. But for now thank's for reading.

Welcome Me To Blog World!

Hello Blog World!
This is my first ever blog so I may be abit shaky! (excuse me for my shakeyness.. is that even a word?) any who.. I'm not really sure what to write about in this blog because you know I really have no idea. I guess I will just talk about myself (how vain!) ANYWAY! I'm a teenage girl who loves beauty laaadeedar! Make Up is my obsession and I love just about anything that can be applied to my face, eyes and lips. :) RED is my fav colour, so you will often catch me with red lipstick and my red handbag!! Check out my youtube channel for OOTD's, Hauls and make up looks! http://www.youtube.com/beccabirdx

This is my applying make up to a friend for a performance we were in, we had to have 60's type makeup so I went for the thick black liner and very spidery lashes which were very twiggy!

So as you can probely tell I love applying make up to myself as well as others! I often experiment with lots of different make up looks, the classic smokey eye or a natural look, it all floats my boat!

Another Important aspect of my life is my family and friends, I love going out for dinner and doing fun things with both my family and friends which I'm sure you will hear lots about them in my blogs! Speaking of family my pride and joy has got to be my cat Tootsie I have had her for nearly two years and she is simply the best cat in the world.. Heres a sneak peak of her lovelyness..
See my instagram for more cute pictures of her! @beccabird3

So I may make a move now and finish my hot chocolate, hope you enjoyed my first post and I will write one soon :)
If you have any blogging tips I would be very gratful :)
cheerio.. b. x
